Which devices work with FamilyWhere?

All kinds of phones can be located, including:

  • Smartphones or non-smartphones
  • Phones with or without data plans
  • Phones with or without GPS

However, phones in these states cannot be located:

  • Those using lines on separate accounts from the PAH who activated FamilyWhere
  • Phones that are powered off or out of T-Mobile coverage

Phones that will generally perform better with FamilyWhere are:

  • 3G or 4G capable
  • GPS enabled

*Please note the FamilyWhere app isn't supported on smartwatches.
